This article contains a tier list of the best characters in Princess Connect. We evaluated them based on their impact in arena and clan battles, as well as their overall performance. The best characters in the game are also listed, along with brief explanations of their capabilities. This can be used as a reference when planning your party compositions for various scenarios.

New Character 'Summer Makoto' (July 4)

Whenever there is only one target to attack, Summer Makoto is extremely good. Otherwise, her performance significantly drops. It’s because she only utilizes her extra damage and physical debuffing skills when there is just a single enemy left. So she is specifically used in clan battles.

The majority of Summer Saren’s skills can benefit the entire party, making her one of the best supports in the game. She has the ability to recover the TP of all allies at the start of each battle. And, thanks to her physical and magical attack buffs, as well as critical rate and action speed boosts, she can significantly increase the effectiveness of various team compositions.

Used only once during battle, the “Summer Runway” skill drastically increases her attack power and recovers all of her TP. In addition, after activating the skill, her union burst is guaranteed a critical hit, granting it a performance boost that inherits the original’s strong points. Summer Suzuna’s firepower is lower in the early stages of battle than other physical attackers because she gains great firepower only after activating her buff skill. As a result, she is unable to fully utilize her abilities in arenas and short-term battles.

Summer Io’s skills allows her to heal allies while also dealing damage to the enemies. The amount of healing from her single-target healing skill “Love Steal” is related to the number of enemies targeted. As a result, the more enemies you have, the more healing you can expect. She works well with other magic attackers because she can also debuff magic defense of the enemies in front. It can be paired with a high-firepower magic attacker to break through numerous parties in the arena. She doesn’t do much damage on her own. So, she will be used mostly as a healer and debuffer.

Her union burst heals an ally with the lowest HP while increasing all allies’ physical and magical defenses, making her suitable for supporting attackers with low HP and defenses. Note that the frequency of her healing is low, as her union burst only heals a single ally. In quests with heavy opponent strikes, she may not be able to support in time, making her unfit for such quests.

Features a union burst that deals immense damage to enemies who are incapable of action, as well as skills that can freeze enemies and heal allies. However, her firepower is somewhat lower than other middle-line attackers.

Has the ability to make the enemy with the strongest physical attack miss. Her union burst deals magic damage to the entire enemy and disables them for a brief period of time. She can be handy in arena battles as her skill set is quite effective at disrupting foes.

She uses her ninja arts to fight enemies, specializing on single target damage and skills that deal even more damage if a critical hit is made. Her high-damage UB, excellent self-buffing, and defense debuffing skills makes her a good option for clan battles.

She decreases foes’ magical defenses while increasing allies’ magic attack, making her a good tank for mage setups. Her union burst restores her own HP while also increasing the durability of allies within range.
Best Characters
These characters have the most significant impact in variety of scenarios.
Muimi - Features a unique kit that delivers huge and sustained AoE damage, as well as stun and physical defense debuffs. Her skills alternate between high-powered single strikes and ranged attacks, making her an excellent attacker in any situation.
Summer Saren - The majority of Summer Saren’s skills can benefit the entire party, making her one of the best supports in the game. She has the ability to recover the TP of all allies at the start of each battle. And, thanks to her physical and magical attack buffs, as well as critical rate and action speed boosts, she can significantly increase the effectiveness of various team compositions.
Christina - Has a devastating single-target union burst that hits every time and deals critical damage, as well as skills that boost own attack while debuffing enemies’ physical defenses. Her union burst also has the additional effect of avoiding any physical attacks for a set period of time, allowing her to lessen the amount of damage she takes from opponents.
Summer Kyaru - Her foes are blasted with powerful magic attacks and substantial amounts of magic defense debuff. There’s no reason not to include her in a magic composition.
Makoto - Mostly used to dismantle enemies’ physical defenses, allowing others to to deliver more damage. A must-have for boss battles.
Eriko - Utilizes a powerful self-buff that gives her an extra huge spike in attack power, allowing her union burst to deal massive damage. She also possesses a poison-damage-inflicting skill. With her unique equipment, she is one of the most potent damage dealers among physical attackers, and her abilities are particularly effective against single targets.
Jun - Utilizing her physical defense debuff, she increases your team’s damage while restoring allies’ health. Her damage-absorbing union burst allows her to withstand extensive battles.
Djeeta - Her TP recovery skill is extremely effective in boss battles, allowing her to use her union burst more frequently. By using unique equipment, she is able to recover TP for her allies as well, resulting in increased overall damage.
Yukari - A very versatile middle-line unit capable of healing, restoring TP, and shielding allies from magical attacks. Her union burst not only suppresses damage, but it also disables the debuffs linked with magical attacks, which is incredibly valuable.
